MTC

Today Wendy was dropped off at the MTC. It was such a bitter-sweet moment! All of our family met at Provo (from Logan and Ephraim) to say goodbye and show our love and support.

We met at a little restaurant called "Guru" for lunch.

After lunch, we all went over to the Provo temple for pictures (of course) and final goodbyes.

We are all so excited for Wendy, and we know she will be an incredible missionary. Scott and Lori said it was such a spiritual experience to drop her off at the MTC. Here's what she said: "The traffic controller said they were dropping off 453 girls and 520 boys just TODAY! He said it was a record drop off. It's so cool that she is going to be involved in history making, missionary work. The street was lined with sister missionaries from when you first entered all the way to the end. They were standing near the curb waiving and smiling and we felt the spirit so strong. AND... there were a couple of sister missionaries who jogged by right near our car. (Wendy has been so worried that she wouldn't be able to run and exercise)
It made me feel so much more comfort in knowing that Wendy will be well taken care of and that this is where she needs to be and what she needs to be doing right now."

We love you, Wendy!
